12/27/2000 Silvia was born on 27 December 2000 to a father with three wives and a total of 18 children, ranging from 8 months to 38 years old. The family sells milk and prepares tea one day a week to sell at the market. Silvia's father, who is unemployed, married off Silvia's sisters at early ages for dowries, and so that he no longer needed to support them. According the Silvia's mother, Silvia is now at risk being married off as well. MGEF began funding Silvia's education in September of 2010.
