Purity Semeyan Sankau

Purity's father is disabled and unable to work to support his two wives and eight children. The two wives work a small farm to support the family.  Purity is the first born in the family, and her father arranged her marriage just as she was about to graduate from primary school.  He wanted the dowry to educate his son.  But Purity was an excellent student, and the headteacher reported the planned marriage to the District authorities, which caused the wedding to be postponed until after her graduation. That was when we met Purity and offered the scholarship so that she could continue her education.
