Nancy's father died when she was in primary school, leaving Nancy's mother to take care of four children. Nancy's mother has no education and struggles to support her family. The principal of Nancy's school reported that she is a very bright student, but was in danger of dropping out due to lack of funds. At the request of her principal, MGEF provided Nancy with a scholarship to continue her education. In November 2011, Nancy graduated with a university diploma in Community Health. She is currently pursuing a certificate in HIV Counseling.
A donation to MGEF will help to buy shoes, a uniform, and supplies for a student, or pay school fees for a needy girl to go to school.
Sponsorship is an opportunity to be a part of one student's life for the duration of her education and beyond. If you are interested in sponsoring a student, please contact MGEF so that we can discuss which is the best student for you.
