Margret's father died when she was 10 years old, leaving two wives and 11 children. The two wives supported the children by making and selling charcoal in the local market, and looking after other families' livestock. But they could not afford school fees. All of the children dropped out of school. Margret is also hearing impaired, but manages to maintain and A/B average at school.
A donation to MGEF will help to buy shoes, a uniform, and supplies for a student, or pay school fees for a needy girl to go to school.
Sponsorship is an opportunity to be a part of one student's life for the duration of her education and beyond. If you are interested in sponsoring a student, please contact MGEF so that we can discuss which is the best student for you.
