The Maasai Girls Education Fund is currently sponsoring the education of more than 50 Maasai girls from pre-school to college. These girls are courageous pioneers, defying entrenched traditions to pursue their dream for an education. They are tomorrow’s role models -- educated women bringing greater health and prosperity to the next generation of women, their families, and their communities. They are a bridge to the future for all Maasai. MGEF is proud to recognize 16 students who maintained an A average for the 2004 school year.

Sponsor a Maasai Girl's Education

Each of the girls below were brought to the attention of MGEF by the Maasai community. Without the Fund, it is likely that none of these girls would have had the opportunity to begin their education. MGEF is seeking individual sponsors who are able to make a long-term commitment to the education of each of these extraordinary young women, to ensure that they are able to complete their education.
