01/01/1991 Grace's father died before she reached secondary school, and it was impossible for her mother to pay the school fees. Her mother is not educated, and ekes out a living raising sheep and goats. One brother helps support the family. After completing secondary school, Grace enrolled in a two-year college to earn a certificate in Education. She graduated in August 2011 and currently teaches at Olorika Primary School in Loitokitok.
