Dorothy's father died when she was eight years old. With help from relatives, she was able to complete secondary school, but that would have been the end of her education. Her mother died in 2009, and she and her sister have been living with an aunt. Due to an MGEF scholarship, she was able to attend college. She graduated in 2011 with a diploma in telecommunication systems.
A donation to MGEF will help to buy shoes, a uniform, and supplies for a student, or pay school fees for a needy girl to go to school.
Sponsorship is an opportunity to be a part of one student's life for the duration of her education and beyond. If you are interested in sponsoring a student, please contact MGEF so that we can discuss which is the best student for you.
