General support donations are directed where MGEF sees a need, and are essential to achieving our mission. General support donations are used to organize community activities, including student receptions, which offer encouragement for students to avoid peer pressure for marriage over education and provides role models; community meetings, which ensure the Maasai people can participate fully in our work; and workshops that are not otherwise funded. General support funds are also needed to support project oversight to ensure that donations are spent as intended.
A donation can be made by check payable to Maasai Girls Education Fund, or by credit card on JustGive.org, or if you are an employee of the Federal government, through the Combined Federal Campaign.
If you are an employee of the federal government and would like to contribute to the Maasai Girls Education Fund through the Combined Federal Campaign (#11265) for the general scholarship or workshop fund.
