Only in Kenya...
Last weekend, MGEF held an Elders & Mothers Workshop at Ilmotio Primary School. As noted in the final report, "The turn up was low because many people were hindered to attend by an elephant which was loitering within that area."

At the age of 12, Mary Grace started Reverse the Course, a business and foundation that currently sponsors TWELVE of our students.

I started Reverse the Course in 2009 when I was 12 years old. My first goal was to help 1 girl improve her life through education by selling reversible headbands. Now, I have a new goal: 100 girls. "I greatly thank you and the Maasai Girls Education Fund's members for bringing me this far. I am now done with 2nd year and joining 3rd year in September 2013. I would like to inform you that am doing my internship at Sarova Whitesands Hotel in Mombasa [Kenya] for 3 months."
